Our Story
Misguided Industries began with a simple idea: build something better.
After spending 15 years in the oil and gas sector as a welder, supervisor, and inspector, I reached a point where life on the road no longer made sense. I wanted to be home more, and I wanted to put my skills toward something of my own.
Then I hit a deer and that changed everything
What could have been just an insurance claim turned into the first Misguided bumper. I built a replacement for myself, and people immediately took notice. Friends asked about it, then their friends asked, and soon I was building custom bumpers in my spare time. Word spread fast, and before long the demand outgrew the “spare time” part.
Eventually, I made the leap and left my career to build Misguided Industries full-time. The journey hasn’t been perfect I learned a lot the hard way but every challenge pushed the business forward
